Blair Pruett has had a 30+ year career in industrial technology and automation, during which time he was involved in such large scale projects as the Bay Bridge in San Francisco, San Diego’s Coronado Bridge, many geothermal and gas-fired power plants, oil refineries, water plants and hundreds of other projects throughout the Western United States.

Blair joined Concentric Power from Kern Steel Fabricators in Bakersfield, where he led industrial sales, estimating and project management. While there, his focus was on the development of automation processes and products utilizing automated welding and black-out manufacturing.

Blair has a BS in Industrial Arts Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where he is currently Chairperson of the Cal Poly Industrial Technology Advisory Board. He also developed and is the current Chairperson of the Industrial Automation Advisory Board at Bakersfield College.

Blair and his wife of 32 years live in Bakersfield, where they are the proud parents of two daughters and a Border Collie / Australian Shepherd mix named Josie.
