Taylor Farms Sees 94 Percent Increase in Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction in 2018

Taylor Farms, North America’s leading producer of readyto-eat healthy fresh foods, celebrates Earth Day with tremendous success in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions savings, a direct result of its use of innovative renewable and alternative energy sources nationwide. Through a combination of solar, wind, fuel cells and cogeneration, Taylor Farms has seen a reduction of 12,190 metric tons of CO2 emissions over the course of the year, a 94 percent increase from 2017, which is equivalent to the GHG emissions from 2,588 vehicles driven for one year.
