Concentric Power Welcomes New Hires | September 13, 2019

Key additions to Product & Business Development, Operations and Marketing round out company growth

September 13, 2019 – Salinas, CA – Clean energy project developer Concentric Power Inc. today announced several new additions to its team. Matthew Willis, Miles Stearman and Loree Dowse have been hired as Vice President of Product & Business Development, Director of Operations, and Director of Marketing, respectively.

Matthew WillisAs Vice President of Product & Business Development, Matthew Willis has more than 13 years of energy industry and academic experience. Most recently, he was Manager of Business Development for Monterey Bay Community Power. Willis also served as the Director of Business & Project Development for a midstream oil and gas firm, where he managed the construction of the first waterside marine LNG bunkering terminal in the United States.

Willis has structured unique businesses in the energy space that include LNG, wind, IoT services, connected buildings, energy-as-a-service models, and go-to-market models for microgrids.

Formerly a research scientist, Willis worked on projects ranging from sea level rise effects on Kennedy Space Center launch pad infrastructure to CO2 studies in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forests. He has a B.S. in earth studies and an M.S. in renewable energy from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.


Loree DowseDirector of Marketing Loree Dowse has more than 12 years of integrated marketing and PR experience across a broad range of industries including agriculture, design/build, tech and banking. She was most recently Director of Creative Marketing for Mann Packing Company, the fresh vegetable division of Del Monte Fresh Produce, North America. While there, she shaped and executed the overall marketing and communications strategy in addition to taking an active role in new product development.

Previously, Dowse was part of the PR team for Wells Fargo’s Internet Services Group, was an Account Supervisor at Porter Novelli International, and headed up marketing for Charles Salter Associates, an engineering design firm in San Francisco. She has a B.A. in English literature from UCLA and a Certificate in Marketing from UC Berkeley Extension.
